DIY Father's Day Gift (TYPO!!! ahhh)

I posted this and well... sometimes design happens late at night... but no excuses.. I spelled pecan wrong :( Thank you to a reader for commenting and letting me know! I fixed the typo on the PDF download, so while MY fathers will hopefully be too distracted by the sweet smell of caramel and cinnamon to notice... YOU will have nothing to hide!

So we all love our dads, and our dads all love treats... so for Father's Day lets give them what they want!  An ice cream sunday kit! Below there are links to the each recipe, a FREE printable of the labels, card and wedge box template!
Check out this awesome crate that lover pants made! Is he not amazing? You're right, he is!
I used a black card stock for my boxes. Make sure that you score the folds, trust me, score the folds, its so worth it!
This pie.... If you want to know, I'm typing and chewing right now... and this pie is what dreams are made of. Bravo Heidi from Heidi's so called life.

Find the Pecan Cheesecake recipe on her blog here.

The candied walnuts- first of all... the smell made my entire house smell like christmas... mmmmmm. Recipe for candied nuts can be found here.
The salt in the caramel... there are no words. Perfectly sweet and salty.
Recipe for the Salted Caramel can be found here.
Recipe for the Hot Chocolate Fudge can be found here.
Download your (new, non-typo) labels and template here.
I printed my labels (page 1) on sticker paper, my card (page 2) on 80lb matte paper, and the box template (page 3) I printed on normal paper and cut out to use to trace.

  4. Looks great and am pinning it!

Did you design the labels? They are stunning. "Pecan" is spelled wrong on the pie box, though, so my pretentious good-grammar self won't be using that one. Any plans to make other greetings and labels for items in the box? I want to do sundae gift boxes for Christmas this year, and these might be a great jumping-off point.

I'm bookmarking your site, so I can spend some time looking around! Looks lovely!

  6. I LOVE your labels! I plan to make all of these for my dad today except for the walnuts. I want to make candied pecans instead. I tried to make my own label to match yours, but I can't match the fonts. Would you mind sharing which fonts you used so I can make pecans instead?
